To make the most of your office visit, the following are some helpful tips.
- Please be on time for your visit. If you are asked to come early to fill out paperwork, please do so. This helps us to be on time with our visits later on.
- Please bring an accurate and complete list of all medications, including over the counter (non-prescription) medications that your are currently taking. We need the name of the medication, the dosage, and how many times a day you take the medicine. If it is easier for you, you can bring in all of your medication bottles. We also need to know any allergies to medications that you have.
- Your appointment time is usually long enough to manage one health concern - please let us know what is the most important health concern you have on the day of your visit.
- Before you leave, make sure you understand any instructions for follow-up care. If your provider wants to see you back in 3 months, you can request an appointment card as a reminder.
